What is the Our Time Southwest Youth Conference?

God has done great works year after year at the Our Time Southwest Youth Conference. Pastor Reyes began this conference as a time for young people to be drawn closer to the Lord at each summer’s end. Many life-shaping decisions have been made by teenagers and youth workers alike—decisions to dedicate their lives to serving Jesus as preachers, missionaries, full-time servants, or simply as passionate Christians.
Like New Heights Baptist Church, this Youth Conference is distinctively Independent Fundamental Baptist holding to the importance of soulwinning, set-apart living, surrender to God’s will, and the Holy Scripture of the King James Version.
Even if your group is unable to attend this year, please pray that God does a mighty work in hearts of all that attend.

Conference Dress Code

• Young Men: Nice pants and a shirt with a tie or collared shirt should be worn during Wednesday and Friday services. Sports pants may be worn on Thursday for the activity. No shorts should be worn, even while at Cliff’s Amusement Park.
• Young Ladies: Culottes, skirts, or dresses should be worn during services and activities. These should be modest and below the knee. Slits in skirts or dresses should also be below the knee. No pants or shorts of any kind should be worn, even while at Cliff’s Amusement Park.
• All: No sleeveless, see-through, low cut, or form-fitting clothes. Clothing should not have any questionable pictures or writing.

Conference Dress Schedule

• Wednesday & Friday: Teens are encouraged to wear dress clothes as they would to a church service. This provides a special opportunity to train our young people to dress respectfully for the preaching of God’s Word.

• Thursday (Activity Day): Teens may wear conference T-shirts and activewear all day, provided they follow the above dress code. We understand that the Thursday schedule may not allow time to change into nicer dress clothes.

Registering for the Conference

• What is included in registration?
  • 1. Delicious meals throughout the conference (see which 5 meals in the information page)
  • 2. Themed conference T-shirt & packet full of YC merch
  • 3. Awesome Activity at Cliff’s Amusement Park on Thursday
  • 4. Conference jam-packed with preaching, singing, and epic games
• Early Registration is the best way to experience the entire conference at the best price. The Early Discount price of $80 per person is available from May 1st till June 15th. The annual Group Leader Bonus is another perk for groups with 10+ registrations.
• Standard Registration is $100 per person and will be available up to “at the door” registration. We do ask that you let us know as soon as you decide to come for sake of being prepared for your group.
• The following are included in the registration form:
  • Number of teens in your group (additional teens can be added later)
  • Number of adults in your group
  • T-Shirt size for all registered
  • Number of Cliff’s admission tickets needed
  • Payment for at least half of your group in advance (any remaining registration cost should be paid upon check-in to the Conference).
• First year attending? We are glad to offer complimentary registrations for one adult and one teen. This allows you to “scope out” the youth conference for your church to potentially attend. May the Lord speak to your hearts in a special way. (Be sure to make your own arrangements in the areas of transportation and housing.)

Checking in to the Conference

• The registration office will be open from 4:00pm to 4:45pm. This allows groups to have time to enter the auditorium before the Opening Service at 5:00pm.
• Please be ready with the following information:
  • Number of teens in your group
  • Number of adults in your group
  • Number of Cliff’s admission tickets needed
• Any remaining registration cost should be paid upon check-in to the Conference.
